Stephen’s connection to ballooning is truly lifelong—he attended his first Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta as an infant, in the ballooning capital of the world. Growing up immersed in the sport, he developed an innate understanding of both the art and science of balloon flight. His extensive festival experience across seven states and international venues brings a unique perspective to every flight, combining technical excellence with a deep appreciation for the wonder of floating through the air.

She came into ballooning with no prior experience, but the moment I shared my dream of becoming a pilot, she jumped in headfirst. What started as a willingness to help quickly turned into something much bigger, as Austin became Stephen’s right-hand man in all things balloon crew. From tracking down trusted local vendors for our patches, banners, and website, to keeping the behind-the-scenes details running smoothly, Austin has his hands in just about everything we do. His initiative, dedication, and eye for quality have made a lasting impact on our operation.
